Candidates must have mechanical estimating experience from a building services related industry.
Experienced in the provision of mechanical engineering services, you will be charged with developing the commercial estimating and business prospects for our expansion into varied areas.
The role offers significant challenges and opportunities with a commitment to quality and the customer. Operating as a team player, capable of leading and working in their team whilst displaying excellent communication skills and obvious “presence” , you will play a key role in the teams developing strategic plan for the company and its delivery within the core values and beliefs of the company and group.
Main Duties
• Assist the development of a successful commercial business through personal endeavor and action.
• With the management team, select and check all incoming enquiries to establish suitability for the company business plan.
• Prepare prime cost estimate from tender documentation.
• Manage and pro-actively support all commercial activities to ensure they reflect the requirements of the business and implement the agreed business plan to achieve current and future agreed performance targets.
• To ensure that existing customers and potential new customers genuinely receive a quality focussed service and attention.
